Eating Rainbows - Meat is rainbow food... many people think this is a vegetarian/vegan site. Let me assure you that while there is nothing wrong with that choice, many humans function better with meat included in their meals. How and where the animal has lived is the BIG difference in a rainbow lifestyle. There is a choice to be made by each human being; to stand alone, or to stand together. It is not a new choice; it has existed since the first dawn. It has been witnessed by generation after generation, and unfortunately, it usually takes a catastrophic event to be recognized. We are our brothers keepers. We must work together and take it upon ourselves to be involved in what our government is doing in order to save our health. A big part of it begins by saving our natural resources. This includes not only the farmlands, but the very seeds that our crops are grown from. The habitat of the farmed animals as well as the condition of woodlands/wetlands inhabited by 'game' animals must be protected or we will all pay for it with our own lives. When I began this site I simply wanted to share my experience with eating only 'natural' ingredient foods and using natural herbal formulas instead of the chemical alternatives. During my research I was shocked at what is being done to our 'natural' foods these days. Things you never hear about unless you are looking. Ask yourself this question,"Why has entertainment become so important to our lives here in America?" I believe it is so that we don't have any interest in more important issues, that the government continues to allow. By the time it affects the general population it will be too late to 'fix' anything. We will be prisoners of Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing corporations. Everyone has something they can do to help. My contribution is this website, an easy to read guide book to understanding why what you eat is so important and even personal classes for those of you in my area. My site is dedicated to educating as much of the population as possible and to try and awaken them from the 'food slumber' we Americans have fallen into. It begins with refusing to 'eat' what is NOT real food just because it tastes good. Antifreeze is naturally sweet because of it's chemical makeup so it probably tastes good, BUT would you drink it? Although not lethal, Polysorbate 60 is in non dairy whipped topping and non dairy creamers as well as facial creams. It is also a major ingredient in some sexual lubricants. Polysorbates are made by chemically combining ethylene oxidewith a sugar alcohol derivative you get a sweet and creamy substance. This is why it is used for non-dairy products. Ethylene oxide is a colorless gas who's vapors are flammable and explosive, It is considered a relatively toxic liquid and gas. It is miscible, in other words it becomes fluffy when bonded with a combination of ingredients including water, alcohols, ethers, and other organic solvents, thus the use in creams and lotions. Here's the kicker...it is a key ingredient in antifreeze...it is why frozen whipped toppings don't freeze completely. Once again manufacturers have us trading natural products for 'convenient' chemical alternatives. Why would anyone want to eat or use products with this stuff in or on their body? Because it tastes good...If I had a dollar for every time that answer has come back to me when I point these things out, I could pay for this site on that alone. Look through the site, see what I have seen, then make your choice. Follow the rest of society like an ignorant little sheep in the corporate Shepard's flock. There you may join the rest of the sick and dying 'pill poppers' dependent on health insurance. Or, become your own 'Shepard', rescue little lost lambs and grow your own flock of healthy strong bodies capable of defending themselves.
