Samadhi is a sweet Hawaiian gal and a tremendously gifted singer/songwriter. The four Samadhi-penned tracks on Beauty Lies Within just begin to convey her stunning vocal and songwriting talents. Samadhi was raised, along with her six siblings, by hippie parents who never let
go of their counter-cultural roots. At 12-years-old she sang jazz standards in a
club with some very old musicians who once toured with the likes of Charlie Bird
Parker and Satchmo. She wrote the songs on her new release ÒBeauty Lies
WithinÓ in Southeast Asia during a tremendous tropical storm, on the white sand
beaches of Hawaii, and in the city streets of Los Angeles CA. Her music is filled
with levity and hope, and the particular depth of a young woman who so deeply
believes in the beauty of the world.
Her music has been compared to Norah Jones, Colbie Caillatt, Sarah McLachlan
and Billie Holiday. Samadhi has developed a following in Los Angeles and New
