Hi...My name is Martha Bolin and I love dogs, dog grooming, and breeding and showing the amazing Chinese Crested Dog and the whimsical Wire Fox Terrier. The Cranberry Dog serves as my grooming shop and well as my home here on the Lake Michigan shore in beautiful Holland, Michigan.
I have been grooming, breeding and showing for over 30 years. I grew up in New Hampshire and then moved on to Montana where I trialed and trained border collies as well as owning my first grooming salon and boarding kennel. I also worked as a groomer in New Mexico and of course here in Holland. I graduated from the University of Montana, Billings in 1984 with an emphasis in business management.
I was fortunate to gain experience in the vet tech field as well as teaching many dog obedience classes over the years. ( Who doesn't love a well trained, happy dog?)
My grooming shop's tag line is " a complete dog grooming salon". I really pride myself on a very thorough job that is extremely well done. I am a stickler about details and providing my customers with a very extensive grooming each and every time.
We have two breeds in our pack right now, the Chinese Crested dog, and the Wire Fox Terrier. The Wires are my "breed of old". I have been breeding and showing Wires for well over 30 years.
The Chinese Crested has been with us for about 7 years now and has quickly taken over a large part of our hearts.
We practice careful, healthy, clean, up to date and selective breeding plans.
