Vidya Nidhi is an initiative that will work towards helping poor and bright children financially so they can also get equal education as others. This will be a ‘Non Profitable Organization’ which will work towards helping various students in schools and colleges by providing reasonable financial assistance (i.e. not less than Rs 1000 per student yearly) in the form of Scholarship / Grants. The trust will work on accrued interest basis and the accumulated interest amount as of March 31st every year will be distributed among eligible and selected students from schools and colleges across Mangalore. The trust also has long term plans to extend its scholarship and grants to other schools and colleges in other states and cities.
