Welcome to Zen Martial Arts Academy
Zen Martial Arts Academy (ZMAA) was established in Oct 2006 by Master Indra Gurung, 5th Dan Black Belt (WTF). He brought together a team of highly experienced Gurkha Martial Arts exponents who had recently retired from the British Army and opened ZMAA. The Academy teaches Korean art of self defense and focuses mainly on traditional Taekwondo with much emphasis put on practical street self defense techniques. However, sports Taekwondo is also practiced to cater for those who wish to compete in the Olympic style tournaments. Further more, various forms of weapons as well as knife defense and Khukuri fighting techniques are taught to the more advanced students
