A free literacy event will be held May 22 Legion Park 1111 10th Avenue SW, Mandan This event is for children pre-K to second grade. Sponsored by West River Head Start and PBS.There will be booths and games & activities that promote literacy, inflatables from JT Inflatables, music by KITKO, face painting, a puppet show, and a fire truck, ambulance, and police car. A free lunch will be served and every child goes home with a book. Bring your camera for a picture with Mama & Papa Berenstain Bear. Suzy will be there with make and take somebunny loves you bunnies, suggested donation to make is $1 or $2 and will go to WR Headstart.
