Whether you live close by or are a visitor to the Lewis-Clark Valley, a stop at Marsh's Trading Post should be a must do on your list. The store has a unique collection of local Native American art, as well as a sizable selection of other Indian and Western theme items.
Natives of Kooskia and Orofino, Doug and Lorna Marsh opened their first shop at Morgan's Alley in Lewiston, Idaho more than 25 years ago. In 1987, they purchased and moved the business into the log cabin structure at the edge of town on the Clearwater River, and the business has grown significantly since then.
In 2001 the Marshes extended their line of gifts and accessories, expanding their store at the same time. And in 2005, the store added a specialized line of furniture designed for everything from hotel lobbies to private living rooms.
