My wonderful husband Michael does share the same love for photography as I do and often comes along to assist me, he is a great help, and My daughter Lily provides me with so much encouragement, inspiration and great opportunities to take pictures. I know as a mother how important is to capture memories. They go by way to quickly.
I have a strong passion for newborn/children, maternity, and family photography. I love taking outdoor photos the most, I believe it captures the moment so much better in a natural setting! My goal is to always capture the true personality and story of my clients lives.

Welcome to Windows to Nature and thanks for visiting my website!
John Sather has two passions in life: nature and photography. Through the artistry of his wildlife and landscape photography John shares his passion for the natural world in a dramatic yet, realistic style.
All of the wildlife images displayed on this website were photographed in the wild, no exceptions. The majority of John's wildlife images were photographed in northeastern Illinois, with the exception of his Florida Waterfowl gallery.
John's other photography interest is landscape photography. A couple of his favorite spots include the mountain regions of the western U.S. and the "northwood's" of the upper-midwest, particularly during the fall color change.
John and his wife, Sharyn, enjoy traveling and making new photographic discoveries so check back often for his latest images.

I discovered photography when I was fifteen and I found I had a love for it as well as a talent. My photography style tends to be a mix of photojournalistic and posed/portrait.
