Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit my site. My name is Michelle Mick and I live in St. Louis, Missouri. I hope you enjoy my photos. We spend a lot of time on the Mississippi River by Grafton. I take a lot of pictures of boats and other watercraft and also love photographing pets.

For some time most of my photography work was in belly dance event photography. It's a tough subject to capture! Low light levels, moving actors... As a dancer myself, I have an advantage in knowing the moves and the music. The dancers are very grateful for my images!
Lately I have been receiving some tutoring and taking lots of shots in a studio setting. I now have a small home studio that allows for some dance movement in order to create higher quality images. Other interests for me are fashion and glamour shots.

My favorite time of year to photograph horses is in winter. I love to capture images of cowboys on horses, doing what they do best "being cowboys", horses running, rolling and frolicking in the snow.
Horses scatter....running wild and free. Tails flying, hoofs pounding across the rugged mountains of Wyoming. They are magnificent, strong, awe-inspiring, spiritual, free horses. Those magical moments are captured, documented and will never be forgotten. Let's help keep the "wild horses" free....
Life happens to all of us. When you are out with the horses, during the winter in the snow, it is truly one of those "magical moments".

Scott learned photography, literally at his father's knee, when he watched the professional journalist and wedding photographer ply his trade. Occasionally his father would stick a camera in his hand and tell him to go shoot the wedding, Scott, being a dutiful son and with a cheat sheet in his hands, did the wedding. It didn't, however, inspire him to become a commercial photographer. That came later.
After many years of being a hobbyist and taking photography courses his skill was discovered and friends and neighbors began requesting his services. Along with his wife Nette, a photographer in her own right, they photograph weddings, parties, engagements and other events, striving to capture that special moment that will be cherished for lifetime.
Although Scott has a small home studio he prefers to work on location so that the subject is in familiar surroundings. His candid portraiture captures more than a subject, it portrays something about who the subject is and often about what he or she does. He is infinitely patient with small children and takes as much time as is necessary to create that once in a lifetime photo.
