Je ne sais pas trop si c’est ma quête d’aventures (et de solitude, parfois) ; qui m’a poussée vers la photographie et le dessin ou l’inverse.
J’ai toujours ressenti une indicible attirance pour la beauté, et sa recherche dans un paysage, un visage parfois, reste un des fils (souvent emmêlés) qui guident mon inspiration. La musique en est un également. Mon violoncelle est un compagnon qui me permet de créer avec les notes comme avec les images.
J’aime a m’évader dans les forêts et montagnes ; terrain de jeu et de passions. J’habite pourtant à Strasbourg, presque l'antipode de mes songes d'idéal pur et sauvage. (Mais bon, on s’habitue à tout…)
Je rêve de m’installer dans les Alpes, m’isoler un peu dans un village ; pouvoir partir à pieds de chez moi; avoir juste à saisir mon sac, ma tente, … et m’élancer vers l’inconnu, là ou il y a toujours quelque chose à découvrir.
Parfois je lève la tête … et je suis affligée par la platitude invariable des avenues goudronnées, des bâtiments presque identiques... dont le sommet n’est orné que d'antennes métalliques. (On peut pourtant faire de belles photos ici aussi, c'est vrai!)
Le rêve, substantiel mais volatil, s’évapore un moment.
Mais irrémédiablement, je recommence à fantasmer… Projets abstraits et indéfinis de voyages vers des contrées lointaines et sauvages. Islande… Patagonie, Rocheuses,.. Himalaya...
Je rechercherai -ou trouverai sans chercher- toujours des Ambiances, des Atmosphères qui m'animeront et me donneront l'envie et le besoin de continuer.

Photography to me is something that is more than just the technical skill involved in taking a picture. In any good photograph there is a sense of art and inspiration, it has emotion and feeling. It will leaves the viewer happy or sad, hot or cold, full of awe or wonder, it tells a story. A good photograph will make you feel like you are really there.

ACTORS: Preparation is key. You should know what type of character you are portraying.
Adults do not need props, simple is best. If you want to wear glasses, please remove glass to avoid glare or we'll shoot with them down on nose. A strong commercial, dramatic theatrical and character look are recommended. Character looks can be anything specific from Cop, Doctor, Waiter, Business, Gangster, etc. You may bring a special uniform to enhance the character you are portraying. Remember, it's all in the ATTITUDE!
Children can bring shirts that are flattering to their skin tone and without writing or a busy feel. Solid colors are preferred, earthy colors work well (blue, green, grey, brown). A pair of regular, non-fancy blue jeans and khaki pants. Accessories can be used for background to create a character. Examples: instrument, school text book, backpack, baseball glove, ballet outfit, etc. Hats, hooded sweatshirts, the more variety you bring the better. Children should look like everyday REAL kids. If you're interested in print, take a peak at GAP, Old Navy or Target ads for inspiration.
