BIOGRAPHY
David Kayondo
I am a London-based freelance photographer, travel writer and world music promoter. Over the last 20 years, I’ve captured many images during my travels around the world, and have recently started photojournalism and documentary projects. I am inspired by people and events that strive for world peace, equality and human rights.
Whilst technological advancements have enhanced this field of study and encouraged many people be ever so creative, ‘true’ photography remains an art and not science. The essence is to capture one’s imagination and create passion!
My current portfolio - ¡Viva El Verano! - exhibits work from the a recent trip to Havana, Cuba; a haven for photographers - salsa, sun, sea and sandy beaches. The colours are vibrant and vivid; the scenery and people inviting, and the nature exquisite.
