Having a passion and curiosity for spiders has led me to focus most of my photography on the small animal life found from my home to far away locales and to document the small things in life.Most wildlife and nature photographers concentrate on the "charismatic megafauna". I feel the smaller creatures of the world are as beautiful and worthy of respect as larger life on the planet.
Hopefully you will find these subjects as interesting as I, and appreciate them as I do.

Sometimes I wonder if the only way to succeed in life is to choose one goal, one interest and pursue it with all the fervor and passion that I can muster. I wonder if in order to reach that desire I must shed the layers of other interests, ideas, and passions so they don’t weigh me down in a bog of mediocrity. Will I be constantly floundering and unable to swim because my interests are like jewels in my pockets that, while precious, will drag me under if I don’t throw them away? Or, are they like little glass bubbles that together will have the power to keep me afloat.
When I am working on an art project I like to see how many different skills I can use in the creation process. I am labeled a photographer, but I would like to think that I am more than that. I am a craftsman, a painter, a performance artist, a stylist, a fashion designer, a set builder, and a light sculptor. I create scenes, narratives, performances, metaphors, and I document them through photography. I like to create very dramatic, mysterious, provocative, almost disturbing images that entangle as many skills as I can possibly manage to construct something more than just pressing a button.
Currently I am a member of the Sharpie Squad for Sharpie Markers and am doing freelance photography. I recently relocated to NYC to pursue fashion photography.
