Hi, my name is Brenda Gribble. I have always enjoyed being behind the camera. With my husband being in the United States Air Force, we have traveled all around the world for the past 20 years. His soon approaching retirement has given me the ability to pursue my passion as a full time career. My aspiration is to make people smile and treasure the special moments they can enjoy for generations. With every click of the camera, I am able to capture a child’s innocence or one of God’s beautiful creations for the world to enjoy. My goal in every photo is to stop time for a moment and seize a memory to last a lifetime.
I have completed a digital photography certificate program at the College of Coastal Georgia, Brunswick, Georgia. This program included introduction to digital photography, nature and the environment, and portrait photography, which spanned over several months. I am a member of the Coastal Georgia Photography Guild and the Glynn Art Association. Photography is an ever evolving art form that allows me to learn something new each time I pick up the camera.

My best photos of nature: bees, butterflies, bugs, herps, animals, birds, geological features and landscapes. Many make large stunning art with excellent resolution. I'm a Master Beekeeper, and all the 'in hive' photos and many others are available at cost.
Almost all the photos are taken with a Nikon digital camera and 150mm Macro lens or telephoto zoom. Most are in a 2x3 ratio. All the subjects are natural - no staging. Most are from the wild, but a few are from butterfly farms. None of the animals are from zoos. Other than cropping, none of the photos have been digitally altered. Enjoy!

Hello, and thanks for stopping by.
I'm a photographer residing in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful English countryside, which features often in my work.
My main passion is Infra-red Photography, which is produced using a specially converted infra-red camera (a Nikon D70), then some post processing techniques in Lightroom and Photoshop.
When you take a picture in infra-red, a magical world appears. Trees and foliage appear to glow white, and the whole scene takes on a mystical appearance. I'm honoured and flattered to have been asked on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/shelburtina) to share my IR processing techniques with people all around the world. I therefore wanted to create a page where my work could be displayed.
