Hi...... Welcome to ryonsportspics!!!
Haley(my daughter and favorite athlete) and I hope you enjoy your visit. I certainly do not call myself a professional photographer. Maybe just a photo enthusiast who gets lucky sometimes and takes a "professional looking" picture. Hopefully, my camera and lens found you, your friend, or your child.
So, enjoy the pics. If you find one you like, tell me or someone about it. If you really like one, you can purchase online or contact me.(ryon@ryonsportspics.com or HOME (318) 628-3881)
Students may find it more convenient to contact me at WSHS.
Call to schedule your next sporting event!!
Please comment and vote for favorite pics.
You make the play.....We capture the moment.

Hello, and welcome to my website. For many years I have enjoyed photography and now have the opportunity to share my photos with you.
Since we moved to the Texas Hill Country, from Galveston, Texas, I find myself tied up alot of the time doing what I enjoy most, shooting with my camera.
I shoot a variety of subjects and hope that you will accompany me now and in the future. Kick up your heels and let's go....

I'm James Marabello. I've been a professional firefighter with the City of Fitchburg, Massachusetts for the last 21 years. I have also been a professional freelance broadcast TV camera operator for the last 11 years.
My love for photography and firefighting ran parallel from the early '80's until about 1995. During the early and mid '80's until the very early '90's the fire load around Fitchburg was pretty heavy, especially for the size of the area. I have finally undertaken the task of beginning to scan thousands of negatives from around the area.
With my belated conversion to digital imaging, and the drastic reduction in building fires, my main focus is now on landscape and travel photography. I am lucky enough to have been to some fairly exotic and varied locales due to my television travels, although it has significantly slowed in the last couple years. I hope you find my images interesting. I recently acquired a Leica IIIf vintage rangefinder along with 5 lenses. Hopefully roaming around with this camera and 1 or 2 lenses will clear my head to start shooting good stuff again..........
I finally got my D7000 and have had it out a few times including a 4th Alm in Ashburnham, so the learning process begins. I'm excited to go out and use most of my old manual focus Nikkor lenses again. Autofocus is overrated for all but sports.... Most of the old fire photos were shot with Nikon FM, FM2, F, F2, and F3 through the years.
Starting to do some rearranging and housekeeping to make more recent things easier to find.

Welcome Malvern Prep Rugby fans. If you haven't been here before I encourage you to try the slideshow feature and download as many pictures as your hard drive allows.
The site I use has a link for ordering pictures. I don't receive anything from it, but the website I'm using is a respected one for photographers so it's probably pretty good.
See you at the next game.
