I am originally from Southern California. I left the San Fernando Valley when I was 17. I have lived in many places over the last 60 some odd years, from Whidbey Island, Washington to Key West, Flordia. I have traveled from the Azores Islands to Thailand, and from Alaska to Uruguay. I have worked as a electronics technician, a flight crew member, a medical instrumentation professional, a small business owner, an auto mechanic, and a fleet manager. I dropped out of high school, graduated from college, served as an officer in the US Navy and the list goes on. I adopted photography as my hobby about 8 years ago. I am a disciple of Ken Rockwell and credit him with my basic understanding of this wonderful craft.
