I never know what to write in these bio areas because it always sounds like the beginning of an AA meeting: My name is Dave and I'm a "photographer". Well, I'm actually a meteorologist who simply enjoys taking pictures. Photographer appears in quotes because I have the privilege of being in a profession where everyone who watches The Weather Channel or looks in the sky and says it's cloudy is a "meteorologist". Since I own a camera and take a lot of pictures, I figure I can use the same logic and say I'm a "photographer". (For all you true photographers out there, I understand there's more to photography than just reading a couple of books on exposure and taking the cliché sunset snapshots so please don't come after me with pitchforks and torches!!) But, who knows, someday maybe I can dazzle some poor soul into buying a picture or two from me. =)
I currently work at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in support of our Nation's space program. I'm a "runner" (like I'm a "photographer") and enjoy racing distances of 10K or shorter. I try to get out and take pictures of the races I don't run because I know people enjoy seeing their pictures as they cross the finish line - you know, the pictures where you look like you're about to puke and pass out from exhaustion. As odd as it sounds, those pictures have the magical power to make you smile and often encourage you to keep running since they're proof of your hard work and success.
I like candid shots and most of the pictures in these galleries are of my family & friends. One day I hope to get good enough to start a photography business and make billions and billions of dollars (if you're going to dream, you might as well dream big. =)). I've been a "photographer" as long as I've been a "runner" (started both in 2007) so until I get *really* good, there's no charge for the pictures. Some of the galleries are locked from downloading pictures while others are locked completely except for those who are in the photos. All photos are copyrighted by me so it's illegal to use them to make money (selling them, blackmail, etc.) or claim as your own ('hey, look at this picture I took'). However, feel free to copy/paste/print them for your own memories. With that said, I won't turn down money if you feel compelled to send me small or large quantities of cash or other valuables!!

I started this as a hobbie that seems to be taking off just a little. I am not a Professional, but love taking photos. If you would like for me to take photos, I would love too. I ask for $20 for booking fee. I take as many photos as I can. They are $10 dollars a pose - up to 25 poses. At that point if you like that many I will sell the whole booking for $250. You get all copyrights and photos on a CD. At this point you may go any where to get your prints or if you want PROFESSIONAL PRINTS, I am a member of a Professional Printing Company. For a $20 dollar processing fee, you get what I get for the same price. The total, if you wanted everything, will run you $290.00 per booking plus what prints you order.
