Welcome to the Homepage of the New York Image Group. We are a private, non for profit, organization of photographers who are interested in enhancing our craft and in using our talents to inspire others. To this end we build camaraderie by voluntarily learning and sharing our knowledge with each other.
The ultimate goal of The New York Image Group is to create uplifting audio-visual slide shows for hospitals, schools and photo clubs. We shoot with a purpose - to share our talents and knowledge with our community.
All members are committed to being productive, taking their work seriously and bringing a positive attitude to our meetings. The meetings consist of group critique sessions of each photographer’s work, instructional and hands on image editing workshops, studio work, and the exploration of new ideas.

My name is Carl Siegler, I have been pursuing photography for several years. Although I have pretty much stopped in the past year or so due to time conflicts with my racing career. I now primarily use this site to showcase my 2004 STI Open Class Rally car and pictures other people have taken of the Ziptie Rally Team at various events.

Painting Through The Lens ...
Hello, and welcome to my website! Glad you stopped by and hope you will enjoy viewing some of my photography and watercolor artwork.
Photography, along with my other hobbies of being a professional musician (pianist) and also a watercolor artist, has been an exciting ride ... especially since retirement, and I need to give a big thank you to my significant other, who continues to support me in all my endeavors! He too is a photographer and has helped me grow so much as I learn more and more about this exciting and addicting hobby!
I always carry a camera or two in my purse or on my person (yes, I've been known to have up to four cameras around my neck when going for a shoot!) because you just never know when or where THAT picture is going to happen and I like to be prepared ... long lens, short lens, macro lens, point and shoot, etc. Hey, it's November at this writing and I even found Santa Claus at the shopping mall this week and snapped his picture!
I have been very blessed and have received many photography awards and accolades in the past couple years since joining the St. Louis Camera Club and thank all my dear friends and family for their support and also a lot of the credit goes to the St. Louis Camera Club and its members for sharing all of their valuable information, and last but definitely not least, the Club's Photoshop classes and workshops ... all of which have definitely helped me find my 'calling.'
As you can see from my website, I enjoy diversification when it comes to taking pictures, but nature has a special place in my heart ... especially those magnificent Eagles!

Devorah Samet Canter’s ceramic sculptures are hand built and painted with low fire glazes. Devorah uses the “container” as a metaphor in her work integrating symbolic imagery and forms. She has been building ceramic sculptures for five years.
Devorah holds a B.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute 1986, and a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago 1981.
