Je suis un jeune photographe autodidacte qui a débuté ses apprentissages en 2006. J'ai d'abord commencé à pratiquer la photographie en tant qu'un simple passe-temps mais ça a rapidement suscité un intérêt très grand chez moi. Depuis lors, j'ai pris de l'expérience dans plusieurs domaines comme la photographie de sport, d'évènements, de concerts, de paysage, mais surtout de portrait et de photographie de rue. Le portrait, en grande partie le portrait spontané, prend donc une place importante dans ma vie et je tente de transmettre ma vision a ceux qui veulent bien la connaitre.

Welcome to my photo site.
I first picked up a camera in high school (40+ years ago) shooting black and white on a Pentax camera (I still shoot Pentax). I continued to shoot film keeping it as an active hobby until a few years ago when I acquiring my first digital SLR. It was like a door opening for me, where the instant feedback and capabilities for creativity were breath taking. I then started to explore off camera lighting which opened up my image work even more.
My love is in shooting people (we are talking cameras here). Not only capturing the physical aspect but also the personality and energy of the person. I view even my flower pictures (for the most part) as portrait work. If it has a face, I love to photograph it.
My other work is an energy healer & acupuncturist [Forman Acupuncture] which on the surface may seem unrelated to photography but I find it helps me understand the energy of the person I am photographing. My photo sessions are fun for both of us. My nature is to be playful yet focused.

Hi all,
For those of you that don't know me ~ I'm Maggie Harlow ~ also known as Michael Buono's mom.
I've been in the photofinishing/photography business since the very early eighty's. My interests in photography are not limited to one area ~ aside from the games I shoot anything that catches my eye & I shoot games because photography & my son are two of my passions :)
Feel free to browse this site for fun photo ideas ~ lots of neat sizes & finishes.
But most important ~ get some photos printed somewhere! Just don't let these beautiful shots of you guys sit in some electronic device somewhere...because once that device dies - crashes - becomes old and replaced - or lost - so will your photos! The only way to truly save a photograph is to get it printed and put it in an album!
So ~ do yourself a BIG favor and get a few printed so you have a record that you did indeed exsist! (Actually the bigger the print ~ the better!)
Aside from standard 4x6's, my print size of choice is 12x18 (which is full frame). I avoid glossy prints - which can reflect too much light. I prefer matte or lustre finishes & my new favorite are metallic prints ~ I highly recommend them!
I specialize in hand-colored, hand-painted photography...I take them - I print them - I paint them..shoot me an email or catch me on the side lines, I usually have samples of my work with me.
