Here is a "bona fide" third generation photographer. My Grandfather Schleifer was an avid photographer (among other occupations) as well as my father, Howard Rich. I have hundreds of their negatives, thanks to my mother's foresight to squirrel them away. I started taking my own photos while still in my single digits, and fortunately, my mother save some of them as well. Now that I have retired from a career in aviation and automotive electronics, I have the opportunity to pursue my lifelong desire to take pictures and videos that others will enjoy and treasure. I also have committed myself to contribute when possible to the Lord's work. That means doing photography for churches when possible, and also charity work. That is what brought me to SmugMug. I needed a place to sell photos/files for a charity in my home town, and a pro photographer friend recommended SmugMug. So, here I am.
